SMS code: check that your phone number and country code are correct, and that your phone has signal.
Wait for the countdown to finish, then tap resend.
A code works for 15 minutes. After a few wrong tries, the code stops working, so ask for a new one. If you ask for too many codes, you must wait before you can ask again.
