When am I charged for a session?

Instant calls and match calls

• You need enough Care Credits for the minimum minutes shown before the call. This is not a charge: you pay only for the minutes you use.
• You pay for each started minute you are connected: 20 seconds counts as 1 minute, and 1 minute 20 seconds counts as 2. Ringing and the time the therapist spends reading your concern are free.
• The amount is taken from your Care Credit when the call ends.
• If your Care Credit runs out, the call ends by itself.

Appointments

• The full price is taken from your Care Credit when you book.
• If the booking is cancelled in time, or the therapist does not confirm or join, the full amount comes back to your Care Credit.
• If you end the call before the booked time is up, you still pay for the full booked time. If your therapist ends it early, you pay only for the minutes used.
